Many people have asked us why the name Crystal’s Catering and who is Crystal? Well, let us help you to understand the meaning and the driving force behind the name. As Allison and I were sitting down with our Pastor (Wayne R. Felton) over dinner one Thursday evening, he shared a story with us that his grandmother had shared with him years ago. He recalled that she said the following:
Son, a man must be like a tin can because you can bend it, twist it, smash it, throw it against a wall, and at the end of the day still reshape it and drink from that Tin Can.
Son, you must treat your wife like she is fine Crystal. Only bring her out in fine company, as they will be able to admire her beauty and appreciate her detail. If you fail to bring her out in the presence of fine company, she may be damaged beyond repair and her beauty along with all of her details may fail to be admired again.
The lesson in the story has stretched beyond the relationship that my wife and I have. It has blossomed into this classy business called Crystal’s Catering. We specialize in Southern Cuisine, but can get right to it if you have an occasion and “need to put something on the grill”. We have a list of menu options and look forward to providing our Catering Services at your next memorable experience.
